The Hoyt Library will present two workshops centered around utilizing applications on tablets and mobile devices on Monday, June 23, 2014 in the community room from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Information Services Assistant, Stephen Wheadon, will help educate and assist attendees on how to use their tablets and mobile devices to their fullest potential with applications. Wheadon will focus on utilizing library eBooks, helpful apps, and other features found on tablets and mobile devices.
Both workshops are identical and titled “What’s That App?” The workshops will kick-off this year’s adult summer reading club, Literary Elements, at the library. Registration for the adult summer reading program is now open for any adult 18 and over. Join the SRC by calling the library today!
In order to fully participate with the workshop it is recommended that you have one of the following devices: Kindle Fire, Kindle Fire HD (or HDX), Nook HD, or any Apple, Android, or Windows 8 device.
Please note that registration is mandatory and space is limited to 12 openings for each presentation. To register, call the Hoyt Library Information Services Department at (570) 287-2013, option 4.
