Hoyt helps combat national epidemic

We live in a time where illicit drug use affects millions of Americans each year. There are many dangers presented with this epidemic.

Kori Briton of the Wyoming Valley Alcohol and Drug Services, Inc. will present a Drug Preventive Education Program on Saturday, May 10, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., in the community room.

This prevention education program is designed to increase the awareness of the dangers of illicit drugs and their use.

Printed materials will be available for all ages; visual aids, a video, and an interactive activity will be presented which will enable the public to gain a comprehensive understanding of how illicit drug use affects individuals, families and the community as a whole. This is a growing issue and we need your help to combat it.

The Hoyt Library is committed to help educate you on pressing issues so you spread the word. Our actions will constitute to a safer and healthier community.
