If you love animals, and are interested in helping our environment, come to the Hoyt Library! On Monday, April 22nd, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. we will be having an Earth Day workshop “Creative Tips to Conserve Our Coolest Creatures”!

King Adjei-Fimpong and Whitney Fenton will be facilitating the program. Adjei-Fimpong, an Energy Efficiency Associate, has a BA in Political Science from UCLA, and experience in sustainability and environmentalism. Fenton, an Energy Efficiency Coach, has a B.S. in Biology, and minor in the study of outdoor education and chemistry.

This workshop will educate both children and parents about some of the most endangered species on our planet, and what we can do to save the habitat of these rapidly disappearing animals. Participants will gain an understanding of how daily decisions we make affects the environment. It will also provide information on how to become more engaged with the world and empower us to help these precious creatures.

Information will also be available on agencies we can contact to help us save our coolest creatures!

Bring a friend to this informative, fun and enlightening workshop to help save your favorite animal! Refreshments will be served and door prizes will be presented on a first come basis.

If any child would like bring a drawing of their favorite animal, we would be happy to display their “Coolest Creature” art in the Library.
