United Way of Wyoming Valley is looking to engage members of our community to create a shared vision for the future and set goals for collective action.
In order to accomplish these goals, United Way will be hosting two community conversations at the Hoyt Library
on Monday, February 4th at 5:30-7:30 p.m., and Wednesday, February the 13th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., in the Community Room.
While these conversations will take many forms, at the heart of them, is one common question:
What do you want your community to look like?
The conversations will consist of groups of 8-12 people having a kitchen-table style conversation. They will be about what kind of community you want. By diving down deep on one topic of the group’s choosing, discussion will focus on how we can effect real change on a specific issue. It is our hope that the results of these conversations will help create real, lasting change within our community.
Please register by contacting: www.unitedwaywb.org/communityconversation, (you will need a valid email), or if you would prefer, you can contact

Light refreshments will be served.
